Fox Lake Preservation Foundation - Refund and Return Policy

Applicability: All purchases made through www.foxlakein.com

1. OVERVIEW
This Refund and Return Policy governs all transactions made with the Fox Lake Preservation Foundation
("Foundation") and the Fox Lake Property Owners Association ("POA"), including the purchase of event
tickets, physical merchandise, and charitable donations. This policy is established in accordance with
applicable Indiana consumer protection laws (Indiana Code § 24-5-0.5).

2. EVENT TICKET SALES (ALL SALES FINAL)
Due to the nature of our community events, the upfront costs associated with venue preparation, and vendor
commitments, all ticket sales for Fox Lake events (including but not limited to "Light the Night," "President's
Movie Night," and the "Black & White Dinner Cruise") are STRICTLY FINAL.

- No Refunds: We do not offer refunds, exchanges, or cancellations for event tickets once purchased,
regardless of the purchaser's ability to attend.
- Transferability: Unless explicitly stated otherwise on the specific event page, tickets are generally
transferable to another individual. The purchaser is responsible for coordinating any such transfer.
- Event Modification or Cancellation: In the rare event that the Foundation or POA must cancel an event
entirely, purchasers will be notified, and refunds or credit toward future events will be issued at the discretion
of the Foundation/POA Board.

3. PHYSICAL MERCHANDISE RETURNS
We stand by the quality of the merchandise offered to support our historic community. However, we
understand that issues may occasionally arise.

- Eligibility for Return/Replacement: We accept requests for replacements or refunds on physical
merchandise only if the item arrives damaged, defective, or if an incorrect item was shipped.
- Timeframe: Claims for damaged, defective, or incorrect merchandise must be submitted to the Foundation
within fourteen (14) days of the delivery date.
- Resolution (Case-by-Case Basis): All merchandise claims are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If a claim
is approved, the Foundation will, at its sole discretion, either:

a) Ship a replacement item to the purchaser at no additional cost.
b) Issue a refund to the original method of payment.
- Exclusions: We do not offer refunds or exchanges for merchandise due to "buyer's remorse," incorrect
sizing (unless a size chart was incorrectly provided on the website), or normal wear and tear.

4. INITIATING A MERCHANDISE CLAIM
To initiate a claim for physical merchandise, the purchaser must contact the Foundation with the following
information:
- Order Number
- Description of the issue (damage, defect, incorrect item)
- Photographic evidence of the issue

Please submit claims via the Contact Us page on www.foxlakein.com or directly to the email address
provided on your purchase receipt.

5. CHARITABLE DONATIONS
Charitable donations made to the Fox Lake Preservation Foundation, including the Scholarship Fund, are
generally non-refundable. If a donation is made in error (e.g., incorrect amount entered), the donor must
contact the Foundation within three (3) business days of the transaction to request a correction or refund.

6. GOVERNING LAW
This policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Indiana, without
giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.

7. AMENDMENTS
The Foundation and POA reserve the right to update or modify this Refund and Return Policy at any time.
Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to www.foxlakein.com.
